Palworld 1.0 guide
How to Get Cryogenic Coolant in Palworld 1.0
Cryogenic Coolant is crafted in Palworld 1.0 after unlocking its Technology at level 31. Use a powered Production Assembly Line and combine one Aquatic Pal Fluids with one Ice Organ for each coolant. If crafting will not start, check the technology unlock, assembly-line power, ingredients, work assignment, and queue space in that order.
Unlock and crafting recipe
Current 1.0 guides agree on the core requirements:
- Technology level: 31
- Facility: powered Production Assembly Line
- Recipe: 1 Aquatic Pal Fluids + 1 Ice Organ
Unlocking the recipe is not enough by itself. The Production Assembly Line needs electricity, and production needs an eligible worker. A queue that appears idle is often a base infrastructure issue rather than a missing recipe.
Getting Aquatic Pal Fluids
Aquatic Pal Fluids are associated with Water-type Pals. For a small batch, collect them during normal encounters with suitable Water Pals. For recurring production, choose a route and target that match your current level rather than copying a high-level farm that adds unnecessary travel and combat risk.
Carry the material back to base storage near your production area. The goal is to reduce interruptions: coolant assembly should not wait for a hauling Pal to cross the whole base.
Getting Ice Organs
Ice Organs come from Ice-type Pals and may also be available through merchants depending on the current game economy and location. For immediate crafting, use the source already available in your progression. For a sustained pipeline, measure how many organs your planned coolant batch actually requires before designing a large farm.
Version and server settings can affect the practical supply rate. This page therefore does not promise a specific drop count or “best” farming coordinate without current primary evidence.
Fixing an idle assembly line
Check the system from the bottom up:
- Technology: confirm Cryogenic Coolant is unlocked at level 31.
- Machine: confirm you selected a Production Assembly Line, not a different bench.
- Power: verify the grid is active and the line shows power.
- Ingredients: place both Aquatic Pal Fluids and Ice Organs within base access.
- Worker: assign a Pal capable of the required production task.
- Queue: add the recipe and confirm another order is not blocking it.
This sequence prevents wasted trips. A second ingredient run cannot fix an unpowered line.
Planning a batch
Because the recipe is one-to-one, the smaller ingredient stack limits the batch. If you have 30 Aquatic Pal Fluids and 18 Ice Organs, plan for 18 coolant before accounting for any other uses. Gather the constrained ingredient first, then leave a buffer for unrelated crafting.
Once your production queue is stable, visit the direct breeding calculator or read How to Get Ancient Bone for a sanctuary mining route.
Sources and review notes
The level, facility, power requirement, and one-to-one recipe were cross-checked against VGC’s Cryogenic Coolant guide and PC Gamer’s Cryogenic Coolant guide. Ingredient sourcing remains sensitive to game updates and server settings. Game version: Palworld 1.0. Last reviewed: July 19, 2026.
